The Rhema Lady Eagles came out of the gate strong against NCAA Division II Cameron University, but surrendered a 15-point first-half lead and eventually fell by a score of 59-46. With the loss, Rhema falls to 4-9 for the year.

 

The Lady Eagles built an early advantage, holding a 23-8 lead with just under nine minutes remaining in the opening half. Cameron University fought back to narrow the deficit to one at the break, trailing 30-29. The second half belonged to the Lady Aggies as they outscored Rhema 30-16 to earn a 13-point victory.

The Lady Eagles were led by freshman forward Vanessa Zailo who had a season-high 20 points and a team-high 10 rebounds to record her eighth double-double in 13 games. She also had four steals and two assists. Freshman guard Jamie Davis narrowly missed her second consecutive double-double, scoring 10 and grabbing eight boards to go along with four steals and three assists. Sophomore forward Candace Tripke contributed 10 points, while sophomore guard Chantel Peterson had five steals.
