RHEMA Capitalizes on Defense and Long-Range Shooting
The RHEMA Lady Eagles pulled to within two games of the .500 mark with a 69-65 victory over the Bacone Lady Warriors on Tuesday night at the Ninowski Recreation Center.
For the contest, the Lady Eagles forced Bacone into 21 turnovers while only committing nine. RHEMA shot 43 percent from three-point range, compared to Bacone’s 28 percent, and outscored the Lady Warriors 36-15 from beyond the arc. With the win, the Lady Eagles improved their record to 9-11 on the season. RHEMA’s freshman forward Hannah Brim led all scorers with 24 points. Sophomore guard Kayna Daniel grabbed her fifth double-double of the season, scoring 21 points and pulling down 10 rebounds. She also dished out five assists and had three steals. Hannah Daniel added 14 points and three steals.
