Cold Shooting Leads to Another Loss
Many times this season, the RHEMA Eagles have put themselves in a position to win, only to lose in the final minutes of the contest. RHEMA let a five-point halftime lead slip away against the Hesston College Larks, losing 62-50 in a road contest.
The Eagles shot 30 percent from the floor, 22 percent from three-point range, and 25 percent (2-for-8) from the charity stripe compared to Hesston’s 39 percent from the field, 42 percent from long distance, and 60 percent (18-for-30) from the free-throw line.
Sophomore center Andrew Hamm led the Eagles with his first double-double of the season, scoring 10 points and snatching 10 rebounds. Michael McGhee was the only other Eagle to score in double figures. He had 10 points and three steals.
