Sophomore Forward Led Eagles in Three Categories

RHEMA Eagles forward Robert Sanders was named honorable mention at the ACCA Awards Banquet on Wednesday night in Bethany, Oklahoma.

He led the Eagles in scoring (17), rebounds (8.1), and steals (2.2) and also had a team-high nine double-doubles. His best performance of the season came in a 60-59 win over Arlington Baptist College when he scored a career-high 35 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. He nearly matched that performance two weeks later in a 96-91 loss to Champions College when he poured in 35 and pulled down 10 rebounds.
