The Rhema Lady Eagles continue to battle each game, but so far the outcome on the scoreboard hasn’t matched the team’s effort. Rhema fell to the Ecclesia College Lady Royals 66-52 Friday night at the Ninowski Recreation Center to drop to 0-4 on the season.

Fall to 0-3 on the Season
The Rhema Lady Eagles showed their resolve in a hard-fought loss Thursday night at the Ninowski Recreation Center. Midway through the second half, Rhema was down 17 points to an athletic Robert Morris squad. The Lady Eagles (0-3) fought back to cut the deficit to single digits, but ran out of time, falling by a score of 56-47.

Drop to 1-3 on the Year
There's a famous quote that says, "That which does not kill us makes us stronger." That could be said of the Rhema Eagles' competition Tuesday night at the Ninowski Recreation Center against NCAA Division II foe Cameron University. In a lopsided contest, the Aggies bested Rhema 72-40.
Each season, Rhema Eagles' head coach Perry Shockley schedules games that, in his own words, are like David versus Goliath. He uses these games against bigger and faster opponents to prepare his squad for a national championship run in March and to gauge his team. Many of his national championship teams have taken thumpings during the regular season from larger schools.

Turnovers Lead to 96-58 Loss
This year’s Rhema Lady Eagles are young as a team—and this has shown in their first two games of the season. As could be expected from a team with only one senior, three sophomores, and four freshmen, turnovers are an issue that Lady Eagles’ Head Coach Kerri Sharp and her squad have to address. Rhema turned the ball over 36 times in a 96-58 loss to the Lady of the Lake Lady Saints to fall to 0-2 on the season.

Fall to 1-2 on the Year
There are nights when two teams are so evenly matched that the final outcome could come down to one shot, one rebound, or one break. That was the case as the Rhema Eagles and the Hillsdale Saints battled Saturday night at the Ninowski Recreation Center. In the end, Hillsdale outlasted Rhema by a score of 78-74.
